The all-stainless Judge Public Defender by Taurus delivers the same devastating power as the Taurus Judge in a scaled-down size that’s easy to carry. The 2.5″ barrel is fitted with a dovetailed fiber optic front sight, while the frame provides a notch-style rear sight. The cylinder holds 5 rounds of .45LC (Long Colt) or five 2.5″ .410-ga shotshells. The frame sports a reduced profile hammer and synthetic rubber grip with generous ribbing. The Public Defender may be fired double action or single action (DA/SA). A transfer bar safety ensures the hammer cannot reach a cartridge or shell until the trigger is fully pressed.
