The Taurus Judge is named for the many judges who carry it into the courtroom for their protection. Constructed of steel and finished in Matte Black Oxide, this 5-shot revolver may be used with .45 LC (Long Colt) cartridges or .410 Gauge shotshells. The pistol may be fired in double action or single action (DA/SA) mode. The 6.5″ barrel is fitted with a fiber optic front sight, while the frame provides a groove rear sight. Black Ribber Grips complete the package. A transfer bar safety ensures the hammer cannot strike a cartridge or shell until the trigger is fully pressed.
