Based on the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Squad Weapon (NGSW) rifle, the MCX Spear from Sig Sauer is an AR-style semiautomatic rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. The 13″ barrel is threaded and fitted with a SLX/SLH QD Flash Hider. The aluminum receiver is mated to an M-LOK compatible aluminum handguard, creating a full-length Picatinny accessory rail. An ambidextrous bolt catch/release, adjustable gas valve, synthetic frame and synthetic pistol grip complete the package. Black controls complement the pistol’s Coyote Cerakote finish.
