The TAC Ultra FS by Rock Island Armory is a full size 1911-style single action handgun with a 5.5″ threaded barrel. The all-steel semiautomatic pistol is built in the classic 70 Series design and delivered with precision engineering standards and first rate upgrades. Chambered in 10mm Auto and feeding from a 16-round magazine, the pistol features a full length guide rod and full Picatinny-style accessory rail. Smooth angled, snag-free styling allows for quick draw in fast need situations. This firearm features a low profile adjustable rear sight, high visibility fiber optic front sight, skeletonized hammer and trigger, and ambidextrous safety. The TAC Ultra FS is finished with a tough, Parkerized matte coating and battle-ready G10 tactical grips. The overall finish is black. True to all Rock Island 1911s, the Rock Ultra comes with a crisp factory 4- to 6-pound trigger, which ensures a great experience right out of the box.
