The DD5V5, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, provides users of the Daniel Defense semi-automatic rifle platform even greater long-range precision shooting capability by featuring one of the top short-action cartridges available on the market today. This California Compliant model uses a design that prevents the magazine release button from being engaged while the rifle is fully assembled. To release the magazine from the rifle, the shooter is required to separate the upper from the lower by pulling on an extended (rear) takedown pin using an attached cord. Other features of the DD5V5 CA Compliant rifle include 20″ black phosphate-finished barrel, DD Superior Suppression Device, black Hard Coat Anodized receivers, M-Lok handguard, 6-position stock with SoftTouch overmolding and hard plastic case.
