Bates The Hundo 100 Baitcasting Reel – 7.1 1 LH

The Hundo is built on a gunmetal grey anodized aluminum frame fully CNC-machined from 6061-T6 bar stock using a 9-axis machine, with some visible machining paths intentionally left in place to highlight its industrial craftsmanship rather than relying on simple metallic coatings. Designed as a compact 100-size reel, it features a shallower spool and a new adjustable dual braking system that allows finesse anglers to dial in lighter lines and lures with precision. Internal upgrades include lighter aluminum gears and an advanced bearing system with 10 HAC stainless steel bearings, 2 high-precision NMB ball bearings, and 1 one-way stainless steel bearing for smoother performance. Available in 7.1:1 and 8.1:1 gear ratios, it retrieves 28 inches or 32 inches per crank respectively and includes an 88 mm aluminum crank arm, a corrosion-resistant anodized finish, and a custom neoprene reel case. Built for durability with no plastic components, the reel weighs just 5 oz, delivers 14 lb of drag, and offers a line capacity of 14 lb mono or 30 lb braided at 100 yards.
